Akoni Care Foundation Awards Scholarships to 30 Boys, Donates 300 Sanitary Pads to Schoolgirls in Kogi
A non-governmental organisation, Akoni Care Foundation, has awarded scholarships to 30 boys of the Universal Basic Education Secondary School, Gadumo, in Kogi State. The foundation who gave 500 free books to Students also donated 300 menstrual pads to female students, encouraging them to uphold proper personal hygiene as part of efforts to support adolescent girls. Addressing the students, the Executive Director of the Foundation, Deborah Agbonika, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to promoting the welfare and development of both boys and girls.
