Kogi Oil Commission ED, Ajayi Felicitates Hon Abdullahi Bello ‘Dollar’

The Executive Director, Administration, Kogi State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (KOSPADEC), Hon. Folorunsho Ajayi, has felicitated with the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Abdullahi Bello, popularly known as “Dollar,” on the occasion of his celebration.

Ajayi, in a goodwill message, described Bello as a committed public servant whose dedication to duty and contributions to the development of Kogi State remain worthy of commendation.

He congratulated the Commissioner for his service to the people and expressed confidence that his experience, leadership qualities and commitment to good governance would continue to contribute meaningfully to the administration and development of the state.

According to him, Bello’s responsibilities at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs place him in a strategic position to contribute to grassroots development, strengthen relations with traditional institutions and promote effective administration across the state’s local government areas.

Ajayi prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health and greater accomplishments for the Commissioner, while wishing him continued success in his public service career.

He also called on the people of Kogi State to continue to support leaders and public officials working towards the peace, unity and development of the state.

The Executive Director further expressed optimism that Bello would continue to justify the confidence reposed in him by the government and people of Kogi State.

Nyamkpa Ruling House Denies Emergence of New Etsu Bassa Nge in Kogi

The Nyamkpa Ruling House in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State has dismissed reports circulating in some quarters that a new Etsu Bassa Nge has emerged following the demise of the paramount ruler, General Abu Ali Mopa (Rtd). In a statement issued to journalists on Sunday, the Nyamkpa Ruling House described the report as false and misleading, insisting that the process for selecting a new traditional ruler is still ongoing.
