APC Integrity Group Congratulates Party Stakeholders, Reaffirms Support for Ododo, Tinubu
The APC Integrity Group, Lokoja, has congratulated Abdulrahman Gentle, Shehu Ebaiya, Aliyu Umar Sulaiman Aguye and Karimi on their Victory at the last Primary election, describing the developments as an opportunity to strengthen unity and cohesion within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The group, led by its Chairman, Hon. M.M. Yusuf Alabi, also reaffirmed its support for the leadership of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement, Alabi said political contests were bound to produce different outcomes, but stressed that the overriding objective should remain the unity, stability and overall success of the APC.
He urged party members, supporters and stakeholders to put the contests behind them and unite in the interest of the party and the people of Kogi State.
The group particularly commended those who did not emerge victorious, describing their conduct and continued commitment to the party as a demonstration of political maturity and sportsmanship.
“There is no victor and no vanquished. We appreciate everyone who participated in the process because every contribution counts. The strength of our party lies in our ability to unite after every contest and move forward as one family,” Alabi said.
The APC Integrity Group also expressed confidence in Governor Ododo’s leadership, noting that his administration remained committed to the development and progress of Kogi State.
Alabi commended the leadership of the APC in Lokoja Local Government Area for its guidance and efforts toward strengthening the party at the grassroots and fostering unity among members.
The group called on all stakeholders to respect the outcomes of the party’s internal processes and remain committed to the collective interests of the APC.
It urged members to embrace reconciliation, peace and cooperation, stressing that the party’s strength ahead of future political engagements would depend largely on its ability to remain united.
The group maintained that with unity of purpose, loyalty and collective responsibility, the APC would continue to consolidate its position and advance the interests of its members and supporters in Kogi State.
