Mozum Ward PDP Executives Threaten Legal Action Over Fake Suspension of Chairman

... Unanimously pass a vote of confidence on Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo's Leadership 

The Peoples Democratic Party Ward Executives of Mozum Ward said they will have no choice but to seek legal actions against some persons, said to have forged their signature with the intention of suspending the Chairman.

The Mozum PDP Ward Executives made the disclosure in a communique issued after an emergency meeting of the Ward held at Mozum.
The Ward Executives however used the opportunity to pass a vote of confidence on Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, the State Chairman of the PDP in the State, pointing out that they are proud of his leadership.

Below is excerpt of the Letter by the Mozum Ward Executives led by Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim. The letter was signed by all the remaining 16 Ward Executives.

Disclaimer and Rejection of the Purported suspension of HON, MOHAMMED SANI GAMBO.
We the undersigned and the duly recognized members of the Ward Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (P.D.P), Mozum Ward, Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, do hereby collectively disclaim and reject the purported notice of suspension issued against Hon. Mohammed Sani
Gambo. 

The said document is false, misleading, and did not emanate from any properly convened or constitutionally recognized meeting of 
the Ward Executive Committee. We further state unequivocally that the signatures appearing on the said 
notice were iliegally and illegitimatety obtained through false pretence and do not represent the consent, approval, or express participation of the authentic ward executive members. 

As custodians of the party structure at the Ward level, we affirm that all constitutional procedures, consultations, and approval required in accordance with the party constitution were not appropriately followed, warranting any disciplinary action in this instance. Accordingly, we call on all party members, stakeholders, and the 
general public to completely disregard the said purported suspension, as it is null, void, and of no effect whatsoever.

This action amounts to a breach of peace and party cohesion aimed at destabilizing the party In the state.

We remain committed to the unity, discipline, and constitution order of the Peoples Democratic Party. 

We will do all to ensure the protection and application of the party rules, No individual will be allowed to use any party Instruments or structure for personal selfish ambition.

We therefore wish to PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE on Hon. Mohammed Sani Gambo, the Kogi State Chairman, People Democratic Party (P.D.P) for stabilizing and sanitizing the party,
