KOCCIMA Outgoing President Urges Unity, Investment Drive

Chief Femi Ajisafe, Ph.D, outgoing President of KOGI STATE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, INDUSTRY, MINES AND AGRICULTURE (KOCCIMA), has called on members to work together to champion businesses and investments. 

He made this appeal at the 2026 Annual General Meeting, emphasizing the need for the incoming Executive to leverage Public Private Partnership to drive businesses.
The President highlighted KOCCIMA's achievements, including hosting the 2023 Kogi Trade Fair, strengthening relationships with NACCIMA, and promoting export opportunities. 

He also noted challenges, particularly financial constraints, and proposed recommendations for the incoming administration, such as strengthening the Chamber's financial base and expanding export promotion initiatives.

Some key areas of focus he explained include Promoting commerce and industrial partnerships.
Enhancing export opportunities. Positioning KOCCIMA as a key voice of the private sector. 

He also stressed the need to Strengthen collaboration with government institutions and development partners
