Yuletide: Obaro Distributes Food Items, Cash, Clothing to Widows*

Hon. Emmanuel Obaro, member representing Yagba East Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, on Sunday distributed food items, cash and clothing materials to widows in Isanlu ahead of the New Year celebration.

The gesture, according to him, was aimed at supporting families, especially widows and less privileged households, to celebrate the festive season with ease.

Items distributed include 20 bags of rice, 470 pieces of Ankara fabrics, two million naira (#2,000,000) cash support, ten (10) cartons of seasoning cubes, fifteen (15) bags of salt and ten (10) bags of guinea corn.

Speaking at the event, Obaro said the initiative was part of his continuous effort to give back to the people and ensure that no one is left behind during the festive period.

He reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation and promised more empowerment programmes in the coming year.

Mrs. Olowu, who spoke on behalf of the widows, appreciated the lawmaker for remembering them, describing the support as timely and impactful.

Beneficiaries also commended the intervention, noting that it would help ease the burden of festivities.
