Amb. Gabriel Abinu Celebrates Kogi Finance Commissioner Idris Ashiru at 50
Renowned philanthropist and leadership coach, Ambassador Gabriel Abinu, has congratulated the Kogi State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning, Alhaji Idris Ashiru, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, describing him as an outstanding public servant and a rare gentleman committed to human and economic development.
In a congratulatory message personally signed on Monday, Ambassador Abinu praised the commissioner’s dedication to service, noting that his contributions to governance and humanity have continued to make a positive impact across Kogi State.
He described Ashiru as “a man of integrity whose passion for people-centred development and sound economic management has helped to strengthen public confidence in government.”
According to him, “the commissioner’s efforts in human capacity development and prudent financial management cannot be overemphasised. His leadership style reflects humility, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Kogi State.”
Ambassador Abinu further prayed for divine guidance and strength for the celebrant as he continues to serve the state.
“As you celebrate your golden jubilee, I pray that Almighty Allah grants you good health, long life and increased wisdom to continue piloting the economic affairs of Kogi State effectively,” he said.

The philanthropist wished the finance commissioner many more fruitful years in service to God and humanity, urging him to remain steadfast in his pursuit of policies that promote economic growth and social development in the state.
