I write with a heart full of gratitude to express my profound appreciation to you, my leader for the uncommon love, care, and solidarity you have shown to me and my family over the passage of my beloved father.

Your Excellency, you have never left me in doubt that beyond being my predecessor in office, you are a father figure whose guidance, support, and encouragement have continued to strengthen me in this journey of service. At this difficult time of personal loss, you stood by me as a father would for his son, and for this, my family and I are eternally grateful.

The demise of my father is a reminder of where I was coming from and where God has used you to take me today. May Almighty God bless you richly and grant you the strength, health, and fulfillment to continue to be a pillar of support to us all.

The attention of the Yagba West Local Government Council has been drawn to a recent publication by Sahara Reporters titled “Bandits Kill 27 in Fresh Attack on Kogi’s Yagba West As Insecurity Worsens.” The said publication is entirely false, reckless, and defamatory, constituting a deliberate attempt to misinform the public, create unnecessary panic, and discredit the ongoing efforts of the Local Government and security agencies in maintaining peace and order within Yagba West.
