Kogi NIESV Executive pays courtesy visit to Bureau of Lands

Principal officers of the Directorate of Lands were glad to receive the 2025/2027 Executive Committee Members of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers [NIESV] Kogi State Branch.

The  brief visit embarked upon by the current NIESV in Kogi State was carried out immediately after her monthly Branch Executive meeting held on Tuesday 20th May, 2025.

The team of the Executive members was ably led by the Chairman, Esv John O. Eniwaiye who was in company with the Vice Chairman ESV Anthony Tinufa  and other members of the executive.

The visit which was centered on strategic discussion and best approach to members participation in Branch activities.

 At first, the executive team were received by the Director of Lands (ESV Dare Adebisi) and his Deputy (ESV Ladan Attairu - immediate past Branch Secretary) in his office.

 The subsequent/Records section was also visited where members joyfully received the Executive. Likewise the Women Wing leader who doubled as the LUAC Secretary (ESV Rechael Williams) and finally.

The current NIESV Kogi Executive 
 concluded this business minded visit with the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Lands, knowing the big masquerade always dances last.

Speaking during the visit,  ESV Baiyegunsi Taiwo MNIVS, the Permanent Secretary who also doubled as Unofficial member of the Branch, with great enthusiasm received the Executive on behalf of the Director General with many words and further pledged his support to this administration.

It was gathered that all requests placed before him on NIESV strategic discussion in relation to the administration blueprints were all considered. 

As part of his closing remarks, he emphasized on the need to foster unity and love  amongst members and promised to be our sponsor (General monthly meeting) for the month of May, 2025.

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, Wins Governor of the Year Award
