The Kogi East Districts Development Association (KEDDA) has constituted a seven-member screening and engagement committee to assess the credibility and capacity of candidates contesting for the Kogi East Senatorial seat in the January 16, 2027 National Assembly election. The President-General of KEDDA, Dr. Aaron Omaye, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, outlining resolutions reached at the association's meeting held on Saturday, October 25, 2026. According to him, the committee will coordinate the engagement process and submit its report to the association's General Assembly on or before November 21, 2026.
