... Kabba APC Patriots Reaffirm Commitment To Tinubu, Ododo In 2027, Denounce Impostors

The Kabba APC Patriots wish to categorically reaffirm our unwavering commitment to one indivisible All Progressives Congress, APC. 

We remain loyal to the ideals of the party and assure that Kabba will deliver 100% for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo in 2027.

Our attention has been drawn to an online publication titled: “YOU WORKED FOR ADC IN THE 2023 GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION, YOU CANNOT BE IN ADC AND CALL YOURSELF APC LEADERS: APC EXECUTIVES REPLY IMPOSTORS.”

For the avoidance of doubt, the visit of some of our members to Hon. James Faleke was in their individual capacity and not as representatives of Kabba or Owe APC. Hon. Faleke remains a respected leader of our party who contributed immensely to the success of Governor Ododo’s election in 2023, including support up to the Supreme Court.

In the 2023 elections, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, did not win Kabba. The APC won both the Presidential and Governorship elections in Kabba with over 7,500 votes. It is therefore ironic that those now crying foul are the same people who worked against the APC in 2023. If they are bold, let them publish the results from their polling units in the Presidential, Senate and House of Representatives elections.

We find it unfortunate that some elected officials and political appointees who fielded the wrong Assembly candidates are now looking for scapegoats. Some of these individuals joined the APC after serving in the PDP and ADC. Yet today, they want to pose as “more Catholic than the Pope.”

The truth is simple: while APC won Kabba, some of these accusers voted ADC in the Senate and House of Representatives elections. They are the same people involved in “rice and beans politics” and are only concerned about protecting what goes into their pockets.

We call on Governor Ododo to be wary of those trying to divide Kabba APC and cage him for selfish benefits. Why would people abandon their wards with thousands of votes and transfer their polling units to areas with just 23 polling units if they are truly popular? Let them explain why Senator Sunday Karimi and Hon. Matthew Kolawole lost in Odolu Ward.

Kabba APC, as presently constituted, lacks clear leadership. This vacuum is what emboldens charlatans and opportunists to smear the image and hard-earned reputation of genuine party members.

We know their history and antecedents. We ask: when did they join APC from PDP? Who among them worked for ADC in 2023 before joining APC? If they want to expose those who worked for ADC, we are ready to help them.

Kabba will not be held hostage by agents of darkness and mischief. Our resolve is firm: we will work for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in 2027, and they will win overwhelmingly in Kabba.

We therefore call on Governor Ododo to convene a unification meeting of Kabba APC stakeholders where issues will be laid bare. This will help him identify the true and genuine members of the party, and not those who moved from PDP to ADC to APC and now claim to be more righteous than the Pope.

Power is transient. Let us think of tomorrow. Chief Benjamin Olowodola is not fighting to take over anyone’s porridge. His interest, and that of others in the entourage that visited Hon. James Faleke, is the progress of the APC.

The Nyamkpa Ruling House in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State has dismissed reports circulating in some quarters that a new Etsu Bassa Nge has emerged following the demise of the paramount ruler, General Abu Ali Mopa (Rtd).
