FRSC Corps Marshall arrives Kogi Ahead of Gov Ododo’s investiture as Patron

Corps Marshall Shehu Mohammed    of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has arrived Lokoja for the Investiture of Gov. Ahmed Ododo as the Patron of the Corps' Special Marshal

The corps marshal was received on arrival at Banda in Lokoja by 
Dr.Suberu Yusuf-John,
Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Road Safety Matters and Chairman, Kogi State Road Safety Council on Wednesday.

Yusuf-John, who was all smiles while welcoming the corps marshal to Kogi state, said that all was set for the Investiture/Award Dinner scheduled for 4.00p.m. of Wednesday.

The SSA explained that the Investiture was part of the Dinner/Award Dinner ahead of the 2026 Strategic Stakeholders' Conference on Road Safety scheduled for Thursday,  July 9, at the Banquet Hall, Government House,  Lokoja. 
The theme of the conference,  he said,  is "Together we can save more lives" , which would be digested by road safety officials and experts for the benefit of road users and the general public. 

According to him, the technical session of the conference will commence by 10:00 a.m of that Thursday with the participantion of various stakeholders including the state governor. 

He urged participants to key into the tips and discussions at tge conference stressing, "Together,we can make road safety everyone's responsibility."
