Water supply: Amb. Gabriel Abinu begins sinking of new borehole at Makira Maigari palace Lokoja

A renowned Philanthropist Amb.
Gabriel Abinu has began the sinking of another borehole  at Makira Maigari palace Lokoja to cushion the effects of water scarcity in the area.

The Young Philanthropist over the years have sunk boreholes in strategic areas in Lokoja metropolis and it environs.

Speaking while the contractor is still sinking the borehole, a resident of the area identified as Usman Yakubu commended the efforts of Amb. Abinu in reaching out to grassroots, especially in meeting the basic needs of the communities.

He said: “I am highly elated at the level of the projects Amb. Gabriel Abinu has embarked upon in Lokoja which speaks volumes about his personality. I advise residents that, when this project is completed, they should make good use of them so that they can get more,’’

Also speaking, another resident Saidat Adamu admonished beneficiaries to take ownership of the projects when it is completed for proper maintenance so that project would last long.

“I appreciate Amb. Abinu for impacting positively to his people at the grassroots and I wish him more prospects insha Allah".
