Kogi: Amb. Gabriel Abinu condemns killings of Two farmers in Odo-Ape

A renowned Philanthropist Amb. Gabriel Abinu has condemned in strong term the gruesome murder of two farmers in Odo-Ape community in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

In a statement issued to journalists on Saturday, he described the killing of the two innocent farmers as sad, wicked, barbaric, demonic and unacceptable in a modern society.

While consoling with the families of the deceased for their irreplaceable loss, Amb. Abinu charged security agencies to step up in their games by bringing perpetuators to book.

"The killings of our Brothers in Odo-Ape community is worrisome and condemnable. Those behind this wicked act must be fished out. Residents should try and support security agencies, Government to arrest any individual threatening the peace of our land"he stated.

It could be recalled that tragedy again struck the People of Odo-Ape on Friday morning following the killing of two farmers identified as Mr Blacks and Sunday Aiyedero by unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.

This attack is coming barely one month after unknown gunmen attacked same community and kidnapped the newly elected ward councillor.
