Committee of Past Chairmen NMA lauds current Chairman Dr Hassan Abubakar in Kogi for outstanding performance

The Chairman of Committee of Past Chairmen, Nigeria Medical Association, (NMA),Kogi State, Dr David Aimila, on behalf of the other Chairmen commended the current Chairman of NMA Kogi State branch, Dr Hassan Abubakar for piloting the affairs of the association well in the past three months. 

The commendation was given at the association's  meeting which  held on Thursday in Lokoja at the NMA Secretariat.

Dr Aimila commended the Kogi NMA Chairman for effectively taking over the secretariat of the association, being  up -to- date with the payment of salary of  the secretariat staff, and successfully hosting the 2024 Physicians' Week.

"We, the Committee of past Chairmen pledge our continued support for the NMA  Chairman for him to succeed alongside his other executive members. We promise to encourage voluntary financial contribution to the association to ensure activities continue robustly" he added.

Responding, the Chairman of NMA in Kogi State Dr Abubakar Alhassan used the  opportunity of the meeting to brief the Committee of Past Chairmen on the activities he has carried out in the last few months, adding that,  the current Executive is not relenting in its baby preparation to attend the next National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of NMA in Abuja in December 2024.
