Kogi Assembly Majority Leader tasks Local Government Chairmen, Counselors on effective, collaborative governance

The Majority Leader, Kogi State House of Assembly Hon.
Suleiman AbdulRazak has congratulated the newly sworn in Local Government Chairmen and Councilors with a charge on Effective and Collaborative Governance in the State.

Hon. Abdulrazak made this known in a statement issued to journalists on Tuesday.

The statement reads partly“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all newly elected and sworn-in local government chairmen and councilors across Kogi State. Your election to serve at this crucial level of governance is an evidence of the trust and confidence the people have placed in you.

"As you assume your offices, I urge you all to discharge your duties with integrity, dedication, and a deep sense of responsibility. Local governance is the foundation of our democracy, and your leadership will undoubtedly have huge impact on the development of our local communities. 

"Work in unity, prioritize the needs of our people, draw inspiration from the state's vision to become a hub for economic growth and development. The Kogi State Government is committed to supporting your efforts to deliver democratic dividends to our people.

"I wish you all a successful tenure and look forward to working with you for the progress and prosperity of dear Kogi State".
