BEBM Exhibition, Several Groups Organises Novelty Football Match to Honour Prof. Ogbo.

A Novelty football Match organised in honour of Prof. Usman Ogbo, the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja is scheduled to hold on Friday, 25th October, 2024 at Ogori Magongo LGA of the State.

The football match according to a statement from the organizers of the match, will begin by 10:00AM at the RCM Football field, Eni Ogori, Ogori-Magongo LGA. 

Prof. Ogbo is the Special Guest of honour at the event is equally expected to Kick off the Novelty.

According to a statement issued to Newsmen by Engr. Bayode Oladipo, CEO BEBM Exhibitions and the convener, said the Novelty football Match is organized in appreciation of the remarkable and unprecedented achievements witnessed at the State Polytechnic under the leadership of Prof. Ogbo.

Aside BEBM Exhibition, the Novelty football Match has several other organizations, including the Prof Usman Ogbo Support Group, Ogori Magongo LGA as facilitators amongst others.

The statement added that Hon. Monday Anuwe and Hon. Abdulazeez Damissah are amongst members of the Planning Committee for the football Match.

"The BEBM Exhibition in partnership with several organizations including Prof Ogbo Support Group, Ogori Magongo wish to appreciate the development in the’ Kogi State Polytechnic in this period under review with Professor Usman Ogbo as Rector". 

"The Polytechnic has witnessed both infrastructural and academic development that has attracted the attention of Kogi indigenes that are desiring development of the State". 

The organizers said it is in appreciation of the excellent contribution to education development of Kogi state by the Prof. Ogbo that led to the hosting of the novelty match in his honour.

While thanking Prof. Ogbo for raising the bar of excellence at the Polytechnic, the organisers said they look forward to his presence as Special Guest of Honour and to ‘Kick off the novelty match.
